About SYNC
SYNC is a wireless, voice-operated computer system with which a user can use digital
media players such as Apple iPods, Microsoft Zunes and many other kinds of MP3
Players, as well as Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. all of which can be controlled
via voice command.

With this software platform, a user can make calls or play music in the car by using
only voice commands. The same can also be performed using the steering wheel. A user
can also search for a particular song on the music system by mentioning any word in
it. Similarly, one can also use only the name of the contact person to make a call
or send a text message.

Microsoft has developed this technology for Ford. This feature is factory-installed
and voice commands can be given in English, French or Spanish.
